My story
I'm Alexander Schmidt, founder of "Finer Things" in Cologne's Rheinauhafen district. The company has been around since 2022, but my journey began much earlier.
My fascination with high-quality watches and jewelry began in 2008 with the purchase of my first Rolex Submariner (Ref. 16610). Since then, my collection has expanded and my interest in luxury watches has intensified.
I love expanding my knowledge of vintage and contemporary watch models, their movements, and the watch market. Over more than 10 years, I've cultivated friendships with collectors and dealers to offer my customers a wide selection of diverse watch brands. This is how Finer Things came to be.
My goal is to design Finer Things in such a way that buying our products becomes an experience for customers, characterized by competence, reliability and transparency.
Our location
Welcome to our exclusive office in Cologne's Rheinauhafen, in the prestigious Kranhaus Süd building. Our office is located on the fifth floor, where we warmly welcome you.
Upon entering, you will be greeted by friendly receptionists who will either personally collect you or escort you directly to our store. In our inviting atmosphere, you can relax and receive expert advice while selecting your perfect piece of jewelry.
Enjoy the beautiful views of the Rhine or Cologne's city center. If you've arrived by car, our underground parking garage is available for your convenience. From there, the elevator will take you directly to our fifth-floor location.
